Play & Pretend: PP: 3. Gentle Hands - Story

Some children find it difficult to verbalize their emotions or needs in words and then resort to physical communication.  Other children (especially sensory seeking children) play too rough without realizing it is hurting their friends. 

This lesson helps children understand that when they hurt their friends they damage the connection with them.  If they regularly hurt others, their friends will choose not to play with them.
